Role:

Taylor Rose TTKW is a progressive law firm that is looking to create the new role of Operations Manager. This exciting new role shall assume management responsibilities for three existing teams, as well as one new newly-created function. In addition, this role shall assume overall responsibility for operations management across the business.

The successful candidate shall oversee the following teams that comprise of about 15 personnel in total:

You will provide inspired leadership to the managers and members of the teams under your responsibility, making important policy and strategic decisions. Company-wide responsibilities shall include the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.  You will be given the autonomy and tools to excel and make a difference in this challenging environment keeping to our philosophy of Smart Modern Law.

Responsibilities:

You will work with your managers to ensure company and regulatory compliance, always working towards and achieving industry excellence, collaborating with key business stakeholders when required.  Promote a company culture that encourages high achievement and team performance. Identify and implement cost saving projects, once agreed by your lead director. You may be required to present research, projects reports and updates at Board level. You will set and manage your own budget, agreed with your supervising director.  Elements of the role will be hands-on. You will be required to actively work on project tasks, not just oversee them. You will act as the central hub for each of them.  Produce monthly business reports inline with monthly management meetings as well as adhoc reports as required.

Required attributes and experience:

Legal experience or qualifications are not required but may be an advantage.

This is a tough role. We are looking for someone who is experienced in operational management and ideally project management.

The successful candidate shall be experienced in and can demonstrate effective change management. They will also be comfortable in communicating at a senior level.

You will be a strong people manager, developing highly functioning focussed teams that will adapt to ever changing business needs.
