DAVID COOPER ELECTED TO ACL COUNCIL
David Cooper (Partner Taylor Rose Law) has been successfully elected as an ACL Council member by an overwhelming majority, ahead of two promising candidates from other firms.
Specialising in legal costs, David has a wealth of experience and has quickly risen to be one of the most respected figures in the industry.
David’s work has seen him play a prominent part in costs law development and widely reported cases such as Hanley v Smith & MIB (2009), Smith v Interlink Express (2007), Hanley v Smith & MIB (2009) and Dockerill & Healey v Tullett (2012).
With time behind him spent serving on the Institute of Legal Executives Council and the added distinction of being one of the firsts costs lawyers to make partner in a practise, the ACL are confident that David will be able to provide an invaluable insight into the way other legal professional bodies are run.
David commented “I look forward to playing an active role within the Association, and this is also an opportunity for me to give something back for the support provided by the Association over the years.”
