Caroline Houghton shortlisted in Peterborough’s Women Leaders Awards

Mon 13 August 2018 Caroline Houghton shortlisted in Peterborough’s Women Leaders Awards

We are pleased to announce Caroline Houghton is a finalist in this year's Women Leaders Awards in the Customer Services category.

The awards, established by Women Leaders, recognises talent and achievements and aims to promote and strengthen women’s leadership.

Caroline joined local top 200 law firm Taylor Rose TTKW in July 2017 as Head of Customer Experience following a long career in delivering client care in the insurance sector. The role was newly created as part of strategy to deliver the firm’s ambitious growth plans and therefore came under the description of unscripted, demanding, challenging and most of all exciting.

Since joining Caroline has centralised a previously departmental level approach to customer service, with an outreach programme that delivers consistency across the whole organisation. Staff engagement was pivotal to this new approach and, amongst other things, consisted of a bespoke customer training programme, one to one coaching as well as the introduction of awards that both recognise and reward a culture of excellence.

Caroline commented “I am thrilled to be a Women Leaders finalist, especially in the Customer Service category as delivering an excellent customer experience is my passion! It was a total surprise to learn that I had been nominated, so to be shortlisted is as exciting as it is unexpected.”

Caroline is already a winner in our eyes but we can’t wait to find out if the judges agree with us. Winners will be announced at the Women Leaders Awards and Gala Dinner on the 2nd November at Peterborough United's ABAX Football Stadium.
