Since qualification as a solicitor in 1987 following a Nottingham University law degree and completing his training with a Leicester firm close to his roots, Nick has remained in private practice throughout, helping a diverse and loyal client base including investors, private or corporate developers and occupiers and often their pension or other trust schemes within the property / real estate sector.

Handling and therefore understanding transactions from both sides of the fence, or that of the occasional third party, Nick has serial experience of site acquisition and disposal, commercial landlord & tenant work, insolvency issues, planning and other infrastructure agreements, joint ventures, options, claw-backs and secured lending. The statutory rights of long leasehold flat owners and the competing agenda of their landlord is another challenge that Nick enjoys.

Managing parties’ expectations with due attention, discretion and a wealth of technical knowledge continues to win Nick and Taylor Rose TTKW recommendations from all points of the compass.
