Anxhela qualified as a solicitor in January 2018. She has a degree in Law from the University of Reading and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London.
In extradition, she has acted for clients who have been arrested under both Part 1 and Part 2 warrants for a wide range of offences including serious drug offences, fraud, serious violent offences and theft.
Anxhela prides herself on robustly safeguarding the human rights of requested persons and has successfully contested extradition on the grounds of human rights violations.
Anxhela is an accredited police station representative and has Higher Rights of Audience which allows her to represent clients in the Crown Court. She regularly attends both the Magistrates’ Court and the Police Station to represent clients and has a particular interest in representing young people.
Through written representations, Anxhela has successfully persuaded the prosecution to discontinue or refer back to the police station for caution a wide variety of cases.
Anxhela has experience in the preparation of a broad range of criminal cases in magistrates’ and Crown Court, including offences involving violence, drugs and public disorder. She continually provides practical and intellectually sound advice at all stages of litigation.
