Nicola has over 8 years of experience advising on UK immigration law and has an excellent technical understanding of all aspects of commercial and personal immigration work. 


Nicola has extensive experience advising on and managing UK visa applications filed under the UK’s immigration points-based system including Tier 1 (Investor), Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent), Tier 2 (General), Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer), Tier 4 (Student), Tier 5 (Government Authorised Exchange) and Tier 5 (Youth Mobility) applications. Nicola also has significant experience in managing Indefinite Leave to Remain and British citizenship applications in addition to EEA and EU Settlement Scheme applications.

 

Nicola provides strategic advice to businesses on establishing a business in the UK including sponsor licence applications for start-up and established companies and representative of an overseas business applications.


Nicola also advises on family related immigration applications (spouses, unmarried partners and children) and on interlinked immigration and family law matters including inter-country adoption and the sole responsibility of children in relation to the Immigration Rules.  Nicola further advises on interlinked immigration and employment law matters including the curtailment and transfer of UK visas following termination of employment and TUPE transfers and on the immigration consequences of corporate restructurings including mergers and acquisitions.
