STEPS IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF AN ESTATE When a person dies someone has to deal with their affairs and decide what will happen to the things they owned. This briefly explains what should happen and should be used as general guidance. IF THE PERSON WHO DIES LEAVES A WILL If there is a valid Will, one or more executors may be named.
