Andrew Self is a Conveyancer in the Residential Property team, with almost 12 years of experience helping clients buy, sell and invest in property. He holds a law degree and trained in-house at the first firm he worked for, developing his conveyancing knowledge and experience from the ground up.
Throughout his career, Andrew has managed substantial caseloads, giving him a strong practical understanding of how to keep transactions progressing efficiently. He works across a broad range of residential property matters, with particular experience in first-time buyer purchases, Tyneside flats and buy-to-let transactions. Andrew is particularly experienced in guiding first-time buyers through what can initially feel like a daunting process, as well as supporting landlords and property investors with their transactions.
Andrew's approach is built on clear, honest communication. He treats every client as an individual and takes the time to explain each stage of the process in plain English rather than legal jargon. Clients value his transparency and proactive approach to providing updates, helping them understand where their transaction stands and what happens next. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys staying active. He boxes weekly, plays padel at weekends, competes as part of a darts team and regularly goes to the gym.
