Christie handles a wide range of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. She acts for a broad spectrum of clients, from first-time buyers taking their first step onto the property ladder to more experienced clients, including those managing or selling investment properties.

Christie has over 10 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, having begun her career as an assistant and developed her expertise through hands-on experience. She completes the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) training and assessments each year to ensure she remains up to date with current requirements and best practice.

Based in Lincolnshire, Christie has strong local knowledge while also regularly assisting clients across the country.

• Acted on a linked sale and purchase with a purchase exceeding the sale value, drafting and negotiating bespoke contractual provisions to enhance protection and mitigate risk.

• Managed the disposal of multiple buy-to-let properties on behalf of an investment company, alongside the coordinated acquisition of further properties to expand their portfolio.

• Progressed a time-critical transaction requiring completion within one week, expediting searches and liaising proactively with all parties to ensure all requirements were satisfied within the required timeframe.
