Recent work examples include:

  • Acting for a buyer of a mixed freehold and leasehold property to enable the client to use the property as a gym facility for supporting young people with additional needs. The work included reviewing the title structure, ensuring the interests were properly transferred and successfully completing the transaction. It was particularly rewarding to assist in this deal owing to the client providing valuable support to young people and their families.

  • The sale of garden land for development: Acting for a client in the sale of part of their garden land to a developer for residential development. Gabrielle carefully drafted and negotiated the transfer documentation to ensure the appropriate easements and restrictions were included, protecting the seller's retained land whilst allowing development to proceed.

  • Purchase of a Grade II listed commercial building with planning for residential conversion with a commercial tenant in situ: This transaction required detailed title and planning review, together with satisfying lender requirements and reporting on the implications of the listed status and planning permissions to ensure the client and lender were protected.
