Mohammed qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and advises on residential conveyancing, commercial property, immigration, family law, and property litigation matters.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of property transactions, including sales, purchases, and remortgages. Mohammed regularly advises both landlords and tenants and has practical experience in property development and construction-related matters, including planning issues such as noise and ventilation systems, as well as heat loss surveys. He also has considerable experience dealing with a wide range of lending products, from traditional mortgages to Islamic finance arrangements and bridging loans.
In addition to his property work, Mohammed advises on all areas of immigration law, including appeals at all levels. He has assisted clients with visitor, student, and work-related visa applications, as well as employer-sponsored immigration matters.
Mohammed is CQS accredited and also advises clients on property and boundary disputes within the context of litigation matters.
Recent work examples include advising a landlord client on the purchase of a commercial property, assisting landlords with eviction proceedings, advising on lease renewals, acting for clients purchasing residential and buy-to-let properties, supporting clients with visa extension and entry clearance applications, and successfully representing a client in a complex immigration appeal before the Upper Tribunal.
