Romeo is a Legal Executive in our Residential Property department, with experience assisting a wide range of clients with their property transactions. Romeo acts for homeowners, first-time buyers, high-net-worth individuals and private sellers, supporting clients with both freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
Romeo also works with property investors and landlords, including those with residential property portfolios. Experience also extends to assisting housing association buyers and clients purchasing properties through government-backed schemes, including both traditional and New Model Shared Ownership.
Recent work examples include:
Unregistered Title & First Registration: Investigated a complex 1980s paper deed title epitome, raised Land Charges (K15) searches across historical name variations, resolved missing easement rights, and successfully submitted a compulsory First Registration.
Shared Ownership Resale & Building Safety Compliance: Acted on a leasehold shared ownership purchase under the New Model Shared Ownership framework; verified Mortgagee Protection Clause compliance for the lender, cross-checked Leaseholder Deed of Certificate protections under the Building Safety Act 2022, and structured an optimal SDLT election advice package.
