Sarah is a dual-qualified solicitor in England & Wales and New South Wales, Australia, with a strong focus on human rights, actions against the police, and civil claims against detaining authorities. She is currently completing a Master of Laws (LLM) in Human Rights and Criminology at the University of New South Wales.
Sarah has acted in landmark defamation and civil liberties cases, including Fairfax Media v Voller in the High Court of Australia and Bazzi v Dutton in the Federal Court. She also worked at a Community Legal Centre, advising LGBTQI clients and successfully securing online protection for a transgender woman in Blanch v Smith.
