Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2004, Caroline has advised on all aspects of civil and commercial disputes including high value and complex litigation within company, shareholder and partnership settings and debt recovery and enforcement.
In addition, she advises on civil and property disputes and contentious probate claims. Caroline is also known for her expertise in all areas of Judicial Review with several cases having been reported, some of which have led to a change in local authority practice and procedure.
Her recent roles as a partner in a large East Anglian law firm and the principal commercial litigator for one of the largest local authorities in England, has enabled her to expand her knowledge in coronial law, contested procurement contracts, construction and regulatory law. More recently, Caroline has been appointed to the Bench as a Magistrate and Justice of the Peace.
Caroline is the secretary and trustee for a local scout group and a committee member for a charity for childhood cancer, in addition to being a volunteer for the community Messy Church designed to enable primary school aged children to participate in craft activities. She is a keen gardener and is fond of cooking albeit that she admits that she is a long way off of being at the Masterchef finalist standard!
