David is a Consultant Solicitor here at Taylor Rose.
He attended BBP Law School in Manchester for his Law Society exams in 2006. Then, qualified as a solicitor and completed his training contract in 2008, when he was Director at Clifford Smith & Buchanan Solicitors until 2020.
Examples of recent work experience include:
Acted for a client to claim back her garden from a trespasser where the client had no recorded title to land because of a conveyancing error in 1998. We successfully recovered the clients garden and the defendant was ordered to pay £50,000 of costs.
Defended a director for breach of trust and preferences for an insolvent company.
Acted on many residential sale and purchases of residential and commercial high value properties.
Although a lot of cases are not actually complex or difficult, he does deal with complex, contentious and non contentious land law, trespass and possession claims, probates, sales and purchase, estate planning, will drafting and powers of attorney.
