Joshua Watts is a Solicitor in our Property Litigation team, based at our Carter Lane office in Central London. He works with private and commercial landlords and tenants on a range of property disputes, providing practical advice and support on often complex matters.
Joshua has particular experience in complex possession matters, landlord and tenant disputes, property disrepair claims and nuisance issues. He advises clients on both residential and commercial property disputes, helping them navigate matters clearly and pragmatically from the outset.
His recent work has included possession matters arising within probate cases, advising clients on the impact of the Renters’ Rights Act, and assisting with neighbour and nuisance disputes. Joshua understands that property disputes can often be stressful and disruptive, and takes a practical, solution-focused approach to resolving issues as efficiently as possible.
Joshua qualified as a Solicitor in 2022. He holds a 2:1 Law degree from the University of York, together with a Distinction in both the Legal Practice Course and MSc in Law, Business and Management.
Outside of work, Joshua enjoys playing golf, tennis and volleyball, and previously spent two years living in Vancouver.
