Lesley has worked in the legal profession since the age of 18, moving up from a secretary to undertaking her studies to become a fully qualified Legal Executive. She has been a conveyancer and very recently a head of a residential department.
Lesley has been in the profession for over 40 years and have seen some changes during that time! She has dealt with various clients in many different areas, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, retirement properties, probate and attorney sales, unregistered land, equity release mortgages, adverse possession claims and new builds.
Recent work examples include:
High net worth property dealing with a deed of easement over a shared driveway.
First registration where the deeds were missing, so I had to reconstitute the title to enable the property to be registered.
New build purchases where the development had problems and these needed to be resolved for the client's lender.
Clients have commented that she is very approachable and she strives to keep them informed during the transaction. Lesley works on her professional development to update her knowledge of property law regularly.
