Nicky Mason-Watts qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2003, while working in her husband's legal firm. In 2005 they bought James Jones Son & Francis on the retirement of the sole principal, a small old-established solicitor's practice and, as joint directors, grew this to a point where all the fee earners were specialists of one kind or another. Theirs was one of the first firms in Wales to obtain the Lexcel quality award. Following her husband's own retirement, Nicky has decided to stand down from that firm and work solely from home.
Nicky's specialism is in conveyancing - domestic, commercial and agricultural. She has acted for estate developers, numerous agricultural clients as well as private individuals. She has a particular interest in unregistered property – of which there is still a lot in rural Wales.
She has always adopted a bespoke, personal approach with her clients and for that reason limits the amount of work she takes on. Although based in West Wales, she has clients all over England and Wales as well as overseas
