Phillip is a seasoned Litigator according to the Legal 500. He has held positions as a Partner in two other firms prior to joining Taylor Rose as a Consultant Solicitor. He has worked in the legal profession since 1998 dealing with various aspects of Civil Litigation including housing for both private and social landlords, anti-social behaviour, possession proceedings, breach of tenancy injunctions, data protection, contract, personal injury and debt recovery.
Recent work examples include:
Evictions pursuant to section 8 and section 21 of the Housing Act 1988.
Breach of Tenancy Injunctions allowing a landlord access to rented properties to carry out safety checks.
Defending Tenancy Deposit Claims brought by tenants against landlords.
Phillip is on both the Liverpool and Manchester Law Society Civil Litigation Sub-Committee.
Outside of his professional career, he's held positions as a Trustee of a Charity specialising in Autism and as a Governor for a school focused on the education of children with physical and learning disabilities.
