Toni qualified as a Solicitor into our clinical negligence team in March 2020. She initially started as a paralegal in the department in 2017 and after completing two seats as a trainee in clinical negligence, she undertook seats in personal injury and private client.
Toni has assisted on cases ranging from maximum severity birth and spinal injury claims to fatal claims. Her current case load covers a range of medical disciplines such as Ophthalmology, Cardiology and Andrology and she often encounters issues such as negligence during surgical procedures, misdiagnosis and delay in diagnosis and treatment. She particularly enjoys the variety of issues that each case presents and the fact that no two cases are the same.
Recently, Toni has represented bereaved families during inquest proceedings where a death appears to have arisen as a result of clinical negligence.
She is naturally helpful and uses her caring nature to assist clients through some of the most difficult times of their lives in pursuing a claim for compensation after they have suffered an injury.
Toni is recognised as a key lawyer in The Legal 500.
Toni is a member of our Social and Charity Committee and enjoys getting involved in charity events both inside and outside of work, including running a half marathon for charity in the past.
