Kwame holds a BA (Dual Hons) Degree in Sports and Law (2006), an LLM in Commercial Law & Intellectual Property (2007), at the University of Derby. He completed his Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Holborn.
With experience across Commercial Law, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Kwame offers a transparent and high quality service to every one of his clients. With the ability to promptly liaise with all key stakeholders, Kwame brings an astute commercial perspective and strategic approach to his advice. Offering expertise across many different areas, his fundamental specialty is looking after the client and achieving the best solution available. Through an analytical and logical understanding of each case, Kwame understands the needs and expectations to achieve the best outcome possible in the most cost effective and personable way.
Kwame advises start-ups, entrepreneurs, SME’s, corporate and individuals on a range of commercial and corporate matters such as identifying and creating the appropriate business vehicle, negotiating and drafting various commercial contracts including service level agreements, agent contracts and distributors, share purchase contracts and dealing with intellectual property rights including trade secrets. Kwame’s approach is to understand each client’s business and their requirements in order to maximize commercial value from business dealings, whilst managing all legal risks.
Kwame has widespread representation experience from lower to high courts in civil and commercial disputes, covering matters related to breach of contracts, professional negligence, employment law, intellectual property, defamation, corporate and company disputes; both internal and external.
Outside of law, Kwame is an all-round avid sportsman, having represented different counties across rugby and athletics. He still enjoys all aspects of sports with friends, when time allows and although his tries have dried up, he is still seen sprinting down the rugby field on occasion.
