Paul qualified in 1979 and has been in practice as a Solicitor for over 40 years.

He has considerable experience in all aspects of commercial disputes in court, tribunals, arbitration and adjudication. Paul has been involved in substantial cases of which some have been reported.

Paul’s main specialty is construction and commercial property disputes. This includes dilapidation and service charge disputes, contested rent reviews, break clauses and commercial lease renewals. He also has extensive experience in insolvency, company, commercial, professional negligence and employment litigation.

Paul is a keen advocate of using alternative dispute resolution, in particular mediation, at the earliest opportunity.

He is a member of The Law Society and The Society of Construction Law and the Property Litigation Association.

Paul is married with three daughters and lives in London. He is a keen sports fan, is a member of the MCC and a Tottenham Hotspur season ticket holder. He still tries to play 5-a-side a couple of times a week and is an avid cyclist. His other interests include modern art, music, politics, astrophysics, ancient Rome and orcas.
