Richard is an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor who has held senior positions at both large international and specialist firms.
Since he qualified in 1987, he has dealt with a wide range of matters and clients, including retailers, developers, charities, investors and financial institutions. He has extensive development experience acting for developers, landowners and occupiers in connection with retail and hotel developments as well as for funders of regional industrial and office park developments. He acted for a major national retailer for many years dealing with refinancing, restructuring and disposal of large property portfolios as well as acquisition, disposal and landlord and tenant matters.
Richard has extensive experience of all aspects of commercial leases acting for both landlords and tenants and of dealing with lease renewals. He is also familiar with business sales and the property aspects of large scale corporate transactions.
