Congratulations to Dawn Goodwin for winning our Corporate Director’s Award Q4 2022!

Dawn is a post completion manager in our property department, handling the post completion for both Central and Southern Regions alongside offering a bespoke service for our consultants. She is based in our Peterborough office.

Dawn was nominated for our director’s award because of her ability to go above and beyond to help with file queries, post completion assistance and she works tirelessly to complete registrations on difficult files. Alongside this, Dawn has even recently been published by HM Land Registry and is on a first-name basis with many of the people at the land registry.

When asked how she felt about winning our Corporate Director’s Award Dawn said she felt “Astonished, shocked and very grateful”.

Dawn has worked for Taylor Rose MW for three years and what she has enjoyed the most during her time with the firm is having a great team to work with. She made special mention to Legal Head supervisors Raavi Grewal and Carly Bavington. She goes on to explain that having a supportive team alongside an energetic but calm environment is her key to success.

One tip she would like to share with her colleagues is that “positivity is infectious and will spread throughout the team creating more productivity”.

When asked how Taylor Rose MW has helped Dawn develop both personally, and in her career, she owed this to undertaking the ILM course which has greatly helped with the management of her team. She also mentioned that working closely with Gina Padmore, Head of Legal had been very inspirational and supportive due to her immense knowledge of conveyancing.

Dawn Outside of Work

Dawn was born in Sunderland and names her family whom she is very close to (especially her nephews Rhyes and Alfie and niece, Rosie) as the most important people in her life. She enjoys spending time with both her family and friends and believes that “after work drinks are a must” to help form and build relationships with co-workers.

One fun fact about Dawn is that she skated with Torvil and Dean and her guilty pleasure is tequila!
