Between 1996-1998, Paul trained with a leading law firm in the Thames Valley, West London and the western Home Counties, where he gained experience in family and private client work. He also has a Master's Degree in Advanced Legal Studies (Matrimonial Practice).
Paul has wide experience in divorce, finance matters (for both married and unmarried couples), domestic abuse, children law, separation agreements, wills, probate, powers of attorney, intestacy and change of name applications. Paul regularly advises on pre and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements for individuals and couples who are setting up home together.
Paul also has experience in international marriage and divorce. He regularly assists couples with the legalities involved when preparing for a marriage abroad, which often requires formal documentation to be prepared, witnessed and then submitted to the Foreign & Commonwealth office for legalisation/apostille. Paul can assist with all steps in preparing for marriages overseas.
As well as being registered as a solicitor in England & Wales since 1998, Paul also trained as a Family Mediator in 2014 and is recent a member of the Law Society of Ireland. He has therefore maintained a European professional status since Brexit. Paul is accredited by Resolution (a specialist organisation for family lawyers) and he is also a member of the Law Society Advanced Family Law Panel.
Prior to joining Taylor Rose MW at their London City office, Paul headed up the Family team at a large regional firm in Bromley for 20 years and then re-entered the London legal arena in 2021.
