Salesforce & Slack Administrator

This role involves but is not limited to: 

  • Administer, support, maintain and continue the development of the Salesforce platform as a core business tool
  • A key focus on realising the key benefits of Slack as a workplace operating system
  • Act as front line Salesforce support to a large and growing user base
  • Handle many Salesforce administrative functions including user account maintenance, profiles, roles, permission sets and other routine tasks alongside our existing Salesforce Administrator but with a specialised focus on Slack.
  • Building and maintenance of reporting and dashboard suites with a key number of finance related reports
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
  • Work as part of a team delivering the full life cycle of projects from requirements gathering design, test and delivery 
  • Based on a solid understanding of the organisation and stakeholder requirements, recommend suggestions for feature requirements, system improvements, support issues and development 
  • Work closely with end users and stakeholders to understand areas for development and to support their use of the Salesforce platform. 
  • Automate processes using Salesforce tools
  • Maintain and adhere to a comprehensive Change Management and DevOps process utilising a central UAT sandbox across multiple vendors, JIRA and Confluence 
  • Support in Data migration and data loads into Salesforce 

Requirements: 

  • Current Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Slack Administration certification
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems at all levels of the organisation both internally and externally
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • Possess strong problem solving and technical skills to effectively design quality solutions
