The Role:

Audit and statutory accounts

• Key point of contact in group audit
• SRA and SAR audit and report
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Interim accounts
• Creating effective and cost-efficient financial practices and procedures
• Understand and adhere to all financial and accounting regulations and legislation

Public company reporting

• Statutory accounts as above
• Trading updates and other announcements (if listed)

Tax

• Prepare annual tax returns with tax advisors
• Tax planning
• VAT, other regulatory and Govt. reporting

The Person: 

• Strong understanding of UK GAAP & IFRS and UK Tax
• Account qualification (ACA/ACMA/ACCA or equivalent)
• Ability to communicate at all levels and across all departments.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• High levels of attention to detail.
• Professional approach.
