Chris is an experienced commercial property solicitor who has a broad range of experience. He is a Consultant at Taylor Rose.

His property practice involves acting for small and medium sized property investors and developers in the acquisition and sale of both commercial and residential properties. He often acts for developers and investors who purchase mixed use properties for development. He also deals with all aspects of non-contentious commercial landlord and tenant matters, including acquisitions and disposals, grants of leases, and agreements for lease where properties require significant fit out works by Landlords and Tenants. His has also advised on the property aspects of corporate transactions.

Chris also has extensive experience acting for several well-known commercial lenders, dealing with all aspects of secured lending. Chris regularly acts for borrowers who are using commercial and bridging finance to purchase or refinance investment property. He has also regularly acted for several well-known pension fund SIPP and SSAS providers.

Chris joined Taylor Rose in 2022 having previously practised for a central Bristol commercial firm, before moving to a regional South Wales commercial firm where he acted for clients throughout England and South Wales.

Chris is also a qualified Notary Public and runs is notarial practice alongside his work as a solicitor.
