Lisa is a very experienced Care and Family Solicitor having qualified in 1992.
Lisa has been a Member of the Law Society’s Children Panel since 2000. The Children Panel membership recognises the breadth of knowledge and day to day experience of its members and it is the only qualification which permits a solicitor to represent children.
Lisa’s caseload includes taking instructions directly from young people on family matters, representing parents/step-parents involved with Children’s (Social) Services meetings as well as in care/adoption proceedings and child custody disputes. She has also acted for many grandparents and other extended family members in court proceedings involving local authorities.
Lisa undertakes her own advocacy whenever she can. She prides herself in doing her very best to explain, unravel and demystify, the very often complicated way the family court can operate. in a friendly but professional way.
It remains important to Lisa that all of her clients, (who are feeling very emotional, upset and worried about what the future may bring for the child(ren) they love and care for), feel that they have a voice which really matters.
Lisa will do everything she can to support and represent them through this family court process.
