Phil specialises in assisting SMEs and owner-managed businesses with their non-contentious commercial contracts and data protection needs. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 at Ford & Warren Solicitors in Leeds, following his studies at the University of Surrey in Guildford.
His expertise includes drafting a range of contractual documents, from terms and conditions to large service agreements for the provision of services and goods, collaboration agreements and bespoke IT contracts. Phil has also worked on larger projects for clients, advising on strategy and negotiating contracts. Phil also offers guidance on data protection compliance, conducting audits, and facilitating data transfers.
Phil particularly enjoys working with business owners to establish robust contractual foundations for success or future acquisitions. Outside of work, he finds joy in sports, especially golf and watching many sports, including football and American football, and treasures spending quality time with his wife and two sons whenever possible.
