Finance Systems Implementation Manager
Reporting To: Director of Financial Operations
The Finance Systems Implementation Manager is responsible for delivering end-to-end implementation of Certinia and Nebulaw(Salesforce). This includes requirements gathering, system configuration, stakeholder management, deep dives, testing, and post-go-live support to ensure solutions meet business and financial reporting needs.
This role involves but is not limited to:
Project Delivery
- Support the implementation of finance and case management systems of Certinia and Nebulaw (Salesforce)
- Manage project timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Support the coordination of internal teams and external consultants
Requirements & Design
- Work with finance stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
- Translate finance needs into functional system specifications
- Design end-to-end finance processes
System Configuration & Integration
- Working with external consultants oversee system configuration and design, ensuring alignment with finance processes
- Collaborate with IT on integrations with other systems
- Ensure data migration strategy is defined and executed correctly
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Ensure issues are tracked, resolved, and retested in a timely basis
- Validate financial accuracy and compliance requirements
- Complete deep dives and reconciliations of financial data as required
Change Management & Training
- Support change management activities across finance teams
- Develop training materials and deliver end-user training
- Ensure smooth transition to new systems and processes
Requirements:
Essential
- Proven experience leading finance system implementations
- Strong understanding of finance processes (GL, AP, AR, FP&A)
- Experience with project management tools (Jira)
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in data migration and system integration
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Desirable
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Knowledge of finance controls and compliance
- Experience working with system integrators or professional services firms
