Paralegal - Commercial Property

You will be assisting Commercial Property Solicitors with general administration work, as well as contacting Clients and assisting with the completion of legal documentation.            

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing administrative duties such as answering and directing phone calls, assisting with document management and file management.
  • Drafting documents and letters.
  • Managing legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence.
  • Assisting with accounting and billing. 
  • Assisting with post completion. 
  • Producing SDLT forms.
  • Submitting Land Registry forms and applications and managing requisitions.
  • Scheduling meetings for the Commercial Property team. 

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous case management experience and use of IT database systems.
  • Ability to provide a commercial approach in order to deliver economic solutions. 
  • Must be proactive and take initiative.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong technical and research skills. 
  • Flexible attitude towards working practises and the ability to adapt. 
  • Must be approachable and responsive to both colleagues and clients. 
  • Must be professional and courteous in all dealings. 
  • Previous experience of dealing with Land Registry and HMRC online systems would be beneficial
