2021 Annual Directors Award Announced!

The Director’s Award Programme was launched in early 2021. Since then, we have announced our 8 winners of 2021 whose hard work and dedication have embodied the message of Smart Modern Law.

The Legal Directors Award is a part of our Client Listening Program which allows us to recognise individuals going that extra mile to deliver an excellent service. Our Corporate award reflects individuals that really support the business allowing a light to shine on those truly valued by their peers.

Every Director’s Award winner is invited to a dinner where they are able to enjoy some face-to-face time directly with our Board of Directors allowing them to get to know each other better, and most importantly celebrate their successes.

We are delighted to announce our 2021 Annual Directors Award are:

Legal Director Award – Malina Gupta

Corporate Director Award – Julia Stygal

Our 2021 Corporate Director Award winner is Julia Stygal from our Reigate Office. Julia is a part of our HR department and is our Business Systems Training & Delivery Manager.

Julia was recognised by her peers in recognition of her support in supervision, going out of her way to welcome individuals and being on hand to assist with queries. Also, helping to guide through processes.

Julia was ‘shocked, overwhelmed and speechless (again!)’ when Adrian Jaggard, CEO announced her as the Corporate Director Award Winner.

When asked what this meant to Julia, she said: “this shows to me that my contribution to the firm is recognised not only by my colleagues but also by the board.”

“I’ve been in two main but very different roles within the past 12 months and I am privileged that I have been awarded for my work in both areas.”

At the Annual dinner that the winners were invited to, Julia enjoyed getting to see the board in a more informal setting and thought the dinner was yummy too.

Our 2021 Legal Director Award winner is Malina Gupta who is based at our Hertford office. Malina is a Partner within our Wills, Trust & Probate department.

Malina has received various complimentary feedback from clients. One client said that ‘they could not fault the service provided finding Malina professional and friendly at all times’.

Malina said she was ‘shocked and a little overwhelmed’ when finding out she won the Annual Legal Directors Award.

She continued: “it means a lot to me. I always try to provide the best service I can to every client and in every situation, no matter how demanding that can be. It takes hard work, patience and a lot of time.”

“I am grateful to all our clients that take the time to provide their feedback, it gives us a confidence boost every single time and reminds us that all the hard work and effort is worth it. To be recognised with the Legal Director’s Annual Award is the cherry on the cake!”

Malina referred to the Annual dinner as a really lovely treat! She shared that Directors made everyone feel valued and appreciated. The Director Awards celebrate the achievements of individuals that provide business support equally to the lawyers and it was wonderful to see the Directors embrace that wholeheartedly.”

Malina enjoyed being able to speak to our Board Directors on a one-to-one basis and get to know more about each other on a personal level, she felt that everyone was made to feel recognised and valued for their contributions to the business, and in a firm of our size that’s such a good feeling
