Amarjit is a Partner at the firm having joined in 2018.
Amarjit has over 18 years' experience in Family Law. Amarjit handles all aspects of Family Law but in particular divorce and remedy cases, having handled high net worth clients as well as cases where marital assets are limited which require clever solutions to meet the needs of the parties. He also prepares nuptial agreements including pre-nuptials and cohabitation agreements and parallel parenting agreements among many other areas..
In addition, Amarjit is on the Children Panel which allows him to represent children through their guardians as well as parents in public law (care) proceedings brought by the local authority.
Amarjit is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing cricket, football and golf. As well as playing sports, Amarjit also takes an interest in following and watching a variety of sports. Amarjit is a life-long supporter of Leeds United.
Amarjit also enjoys spending time with his family and travelling. He enjoys music and regularly attends live performances of his favourite bands.
Amarjit also speaks fluent Punjabi.
