Harry Charalambous, Solicitor in our Crime & Extradition department and based in our Westminster office has recently won our Q3 Legal Director’s Award.

Harry's journey into law began with the study of A Level Law in college, sparking a passion for the law and achieving justice. His role involves managing a substantial criminal caseload, navigating the complexities of police stations and courtrooms, all while ensuring immaculate client care and adherence to administrative procedures.

What sets Harry apart is not just his legal expertise, but his proactive approach to achieving results. He takes pride in affecting positive outcomes and for Harry, success is about making a tangible difference in his client’s lives.

With 28 years of experience under his belt, Harry handles challenging situations and high-pressure moments with remarkable poise. He is able to handle these situations through organisation, effective time management, and the wisdom he has gained from decades of navigating similar situations.

While hard work and determination are keys to success, Harry emphasises the importance of balance. Balancing professional ambitions with family life is a crucial aspect to his success.

Q: If you were to write a book or create a documentary about your career journey, what would the title be, and what would it focus on?

A: The title would undoubtedly be 'Perseverance.' The story would focus on the resilience required to weather setbacks and failures, emphasising that success hinges on how to deal with challenges while appreciating the achievements.

A: Harry enjoys watching Arsenal and pursing his interest in bodybuilding.

A: Harry’s approach involves dedicated effort during office hours and a conscious switch-off when at home. Weekends are sacred for rejuvenation, striking the right equilibrium between work and life.

A: Harry reveals his guilty pleasures – a fondness for whiskey and an indulgence in the sweet delight of cheesecake.
