Congratulations to our newly qualified solicitor Roxanne Dean after completing her training contract with the firm.

We’re pleased to announce that on 15^th January Roxanne Dean was admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales after completing a 2-year training contract at Taylor Rose TTKW’s Peterborough office.

Roxanne joined the firm as a conveyancer in 2015 and was awarded a training contract the following year, to begin in 2018, after successfully undergoing our internal selection process.

We were pleased to offer Roxanne training seats in residential and commercial property, disputes and corporate law. We always aim to offer a variety of seats to our trainee solicitors, considering their preferences as well as the needs of the business.

Roxanne says of her training experience:

“The last two years have provided me with a valuable insight into several practice areas, where I have not only received training on the laws, procedures and legal documentation specific to those areas, but I have also had opportunities to attend networking events, shadow a judge, observe a mediation and attend a hearing at the Old Bailey.

My training seats have all involved steep learning curves, a supportive environment and plenty of client interaction, which I believe is key to learning the skills that you need to become a solicitor.

I feel it is so important to consider the type of clients you would like to represent as well as the lifestyle you want when choosing which practice area to specialise in.”

We aim to offer training contracts each year and across our 10 offices where possible with our application and selection process taking place in the summer and successful candidates beginning their training contracts in the following January.

Applications are welcomed from employees as well as external applicants.

“I am very grateful to Taylor Rose TTKW for the opportunities they have given me over the past 5 years. I’m pleased to be continuing my career with the firm as a solicitor specialising in property law.”
