Congratulations to Hilary Soanes for winning our Q1 Corporate Director’s Award!

Hilary is the esteemed Head of our Legal Support Operations (LSO) based in our New Addington Office. Our LSO team is compiled of highly experience legal assistants which help our personnel on day-to-day admin tasks including setting up a new property matters to printing and sending out client letters.

She was nominated for our director’s award after her commitment to providing a high level or service within the LSO and always striving to provide the best service and encourage use of the centralised service. 

When asked how she felt about winning our Corporate Director’s Award Hilary said that she was: “extremely proud.”

Having dedicated 24 years to Taylor Rose MW, Hillary’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable. She has excelled in multiple roles within the firm. She has worked in the HR and IT department and has also been heavily involved in Integrations, showcasing her versatility and adaptability within the business.

When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Hilary said: “The colleagues I work with make the role very enjoyable. It is extremely satisfying to be leading a successful and hard-working team.”

However, on the flip side she finds that managing the sheer volume of work that leading such a successful team involves multitasking and prioritising is the most challenging part of her job.

In her own words, Hillary expresses immense pride in receiving the Corporate Director’s Award. She attributes her success to hard work, unwavering commitment, and a continuous pursuit of improvement. Leading a successful and hardworking team brings her great satisfaction.

One piece of advice she would like to share with her colleagues is that “don’t be afraid of making a mistake but make certain to learn from it.”

Here at Taylor Rose MW we have four values: Aspiration, Integrity, Innovation & Commitment. Hilary said Integrity is the one that resonated with her as she believes it is essential in leadership.


Hilary Outside of Work

Hilary was born in Biggin Hill in Kent and names her family as the most important people in her life who she cherishes spending time with. Hilary also take’s pleasure in participating in hobbies like attending the theatre and entertaining guests at home.

One fun fact about Hilary is that during her younger years, she worked as cabin crew for 7 years with Caledonian Airways and admits to her guilty pleasure being a Biscoff Ice-cream.

Lastly, Hilary said “it would be easier to tell you what music she doesn’t like and that’s operatic music.”
