Our sister firm, McMillan Williams Solicitors (Chelmsford) are delighted to have been shortlisted in the Essex Business Awards for “Excellent Customer Focus”.
The Excellent Customer Focus Award is for companies that can demonstrate the highest standard of customer care and service. This could be by adopting a positive and focused approach to meet their customer’s needs.
Our Chelmsford Family team is headed by Marjana Uddin. They have been recognised in particular for their work with domestic abuse organisations and for providing pro-bono legal advice. For the following establishments:
- Chelmsford Law Clinic,
- Anglia Ruskin University,
- Next Chapter,
- Safer Places,
- and Southend On Sea Domestic Abuse Projects.
Many of whom refer clients directly to us needing urgent representation and advice.
Our close links with these referrers has allowed us to provide clients with holistic advice and support. This means that an individual seeking protection and fleeing a violent home life is able too. This allows the most vulnerable clients to get help with the legal and other various aspects including:
- refuge accommodation,
- benefits advice,
- and information from local police.
This enables vulnerable clients to be protected immediately.

We were able to demonstrate our commitment as a Family Team. As a business we want to ensure high standards of customer service through our high street office network.
Through the recruitment of lawyers and individuals who are able to provide advice across all areas and complexities of family law. And the modern use of technology, the skill set of our team allows us to make our business successful.
