John is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate and Commercial department. He specialises in acquisitions, management buy outs and start-ups. He also deals with group reorganisations and restructurings; IT based joint ventures; and advising on all legal issues relating to private limited companies including director’s duties, shareholder rights, shareholder agreements, convertible loans and share buy-backs. John has 33 years’ experience within the field of Corporate and Commercial law. During this period he has dealt with many cases in each of these areas.

John qualified as a Solicitor in 1985, after having gained a degree in Physics at the University of Exeter, followed by attendance at the College of Law in order to take the professional qualification examinations.
